The short number 1522 was created by the Presidency of the Council Department of Equal Opportunities and receives requests for help and support from victims of violence and stalking with specialized operators. In theory, the number should be aimed at both women and men, but it is managed by associations that are clearly gender-specific.

It is therefore urgent to open the 1522 service to an equal manager for the male quota, also for the world of adolescents, or, better, to establish a similar service, the 1523, reserved, with equal potential, for male citizens, respecting precisely the constitutionally protected principle of non-discrimination of gender.

From now on, to protect everyone's values, we organize 1523: a number and service, with a male voice and blue ears, against violence against men for the protection of everyone.
